Britannia Hotel has been chosen as the South Trøndelag best breakfast and was announced by Haugen-Gruppen 24 in June 2013 at the same time elected to participate in the finals of Twinings Best Breakfast 2013. We are of course very proud and pleased that the hard work with our new breakfast concept is noticed and especially that it is appreciated by our guests! Both our chefs and waiters have been working hard with the breakfast product and service to create the best breakfast experience.
Britannia Hotel is a member of the Historic Hotels & Restaurants that have some of the most unique hotels in Norway. For generations many of the Historic Hotel’s members have aimed to offer their guests the “healthy and tasty meal” by using local produce and by being a great host. Britannia Hotel has used this as a basis for the development of the breakfast concept and added their own identity.
Britannia Hotels’s breakfast concept is based on the total experience. With a surrounding to match one of the finest of breakfasts the Palmehaven is very unique with the breakfast refreshments placed around the famous fountain in the historic Moorish garden. Chef Geir Barstad has developed a concept based on the local produce and ensuring homemade, traditional as well as the healthy values.
