Dear lutefisk lovers. Since the opening in 1918, Palmehaven has been a Trondheim institution, setting trends whilst remaining true to tradition.
Together with our carefully selected suppliers of lutefisk and aquavit, we are proud to open the 2026 lutefisk season. To celebrate this remarkable ingredient in the way it deserves, we have curated an evening of first-class lutefisk, aquavit and a specially commissioned musical programme.
The Lutefisk Evening at Palmehaven takes place on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October, and includes an aperitif, two servings of lutefisk and dessert.
The price per person is NOK 1,595.
Trondheim, Nidaros Cathedral and the Archbishop of Nidaros all play important roles in the history of dried and salted fish exports to Europe. Against this backdrop, the musician Are Hembre has composed a musical piece that will captivate and entertain the audience throughout the evening.
