Britannia Hotel has been part of Trondheim since 1870. For generations, it has been a setting for landmark occasions, memorable dining, important meetings and lasting memories. Following an extensive three-year restoration, the hotel reopened its doors on 1 April 2019.

At the heart of Britannia’s renaissance is Odd Reitan’s vision of creating an international luxury hotel in Trondheim, defined by uncompromising quality and exceptional hospitality. Today, Britannia is a destination in its own right, welcoming both international travellers and the people of Trondheim.

The hotel features 224 rooms and suites, six restaurants and bars, Spa & Fitness, and extensive facilities for meetings, conferences, celebrations and events. From Palmehaven and the Michelin-starred Speilsalen to Brasserie Britannia, Jonathan Grill, Vinbaren and Britannia Bar, the hotel brings together a remarkable range of experiences under one roof.
