The Britannia Hotel is in its last year of a three year full refurbishment and we are now seeking employees to take part in our re-opening on April 1st 2019.
Britannia Hotel’s extensive renovation is one of the largest hospitality refurbishments ever undertaken in Scandinavia. Since opening in 1870, Britannia has been the site of the most prominent events and celebrations in Trondheim. In 2019 the hotel will once again be the place for celebrations and special occasions; re-opening as a classical-modern, internationally-inspired five-star hotel and house of restaurants. Britannia Hotel is a member of The Leading Hotels of The World, which is a collection of over 375 member hotels in 75 countries around the world. Our hotel becomes the fifth member in Scandinavia. Joining Hotel Continental in Oslo, Hotel d`Angleterre in Copenhagen, Grand Hotel Stockholm and Hotel Kämp in Helsinki. Only the finest five star hotels can apply to become a member of Leading Hotels. Each hotel has to follow a set of 800 quality standards, ensuring the high level of quality and service amongst the members of Leading.
The Britannia Hotel will re-open on the 1st of April 2019 with 257 new rooms and suites, six restaurants & bars, a beautiful spa & fitness, a ballroom, conference and banqueting facilities for over 300 persons.
