Since opening in 1918, Palmehaven has been a Trondheim institution, setting trends while remaining true to tradition.

Together with the finest suppliers of lutefisk and aquavit, we are incredibly proud to kick off the 2024 lutefisk season. Glea is our chosen supplier of top-quality lutefisk, while the aquavit comes from the renowned Inderøy Brenneri. To celebrate these exceptional ingredients, we have put together a rich program, which includes not only first-class lutefisk and aquavit but also a specially curated musical performance.

The Lutefisk Evening in Palmehaven will take place on Friday, October 25th, and Saturday, October 26th.

Trondheim, Nidaros Cathedral, and the Archbishop of Nidaros play key roles in the history of dried and salted fish exports to Europe. With this as the backdrop, our resident musician, Are Hembre, has composed a musical piece that will engage and entertain throughout the evening.
